Hello Interwebs Community! I'm Mel... welcome to my portfolio site. Glad to have you stop by. It's actually been a while since I've updated the Research and Design pages... but I've been busy (see Resume).
I'm a self-described Product Manager for the People. This means I strive to conceptualize and build interactive products like websites, mobile and tablet apps that people like to use. Because people like to use them, businesses like to advertise on them. That's a successful product.
My background is in Engineering and Human Computer Interaction and most of my career (since I haven't needed to bartend anymore) I've worked with software. My family and friends think I'm in IT... little do they know how little I know! I'm actually just a proficient Googler and tend to know where to find how to fix things.
